Is this a cure for baldness?
PRP is not a cure for baldness. Genetic medical concerns such as Androgenic alopecia (male/female pattern baldness) will remain; however, regular treatments with PRP has shown to slow down common problems such as hair loss and increase hair volume.
Procedure:
A simple blood draw is performed and PRP is extracted from your blood sample with our state-of-the-art extraction technique. The PRP layer, which contains a high concentration of growth factors and platelets, is then injected into specific areas of hair thinning or hair loss across the scalp.

How many treatments do I need?
Treatment frequency depends on your specific need and hair loss severity. Generally at the start of treatment, a series of consecutive procedures (usually 4-6x) scheduled 1 month apart is needed. The initial frequency in treatment is important to jumpstart growth. As desired results begin to show, maintenance treatments may be scheduled around 2-4x a year. Some patients have noticed significant improvement in hair thickness and volume only after 2 treatments.
Do PRP hair injections hurt?
There may be some sensitivity during injections; however, we use very thin needles to increase patient comfort. This procedure is generally well tolerated by most patients.
What is the recovery time?
